Hey everyone,

I just crossgraded to RW Standard, and poof, no more guitar tones. It seems the only way to make any noise is to use the built-in effects, or to use Amplitube. I had some sounds that I really liked before, and I guess they're gone now. Is there a way to get them into RW Standard? If not, that's fine, but I've searched around on here, but I can't seem to figure out what I should really be using for my guitar sounds. What's everybody else using?

RW2 is a stand alone app. that use many diffrent asio devices...guitar port/pod/tone port and many others. I use gtr.port myself as my asio device and so i have all the amps/cabs/efxs.

In RiffWorks 1.1 GuitarPort launch within the application. With the new versions, RW II L6 and/or Standard, you have to launch GuitarPort or such separately.

You dont put them in RW2..start g.p/then rw2,..rw2 should see your g.p...the asio setup button in lower right will show if it does..everything you have with your g.p will play and be recorded in rw2. U have to run both app.

yeah, i realized that after i replied ... but i have a bigger issue now, i can hear the guitar in guitarport, but no sound comes from riffworks. I close everything, open just riffworks and try amplitube again, nothing. oh well, at least this problem's solved lol. thanks!

did u set your input/output in asio setup. I monitor from my g.p..when u play ur gtr u should see the meter move in lower left[im sure u know all this] if so,hit play to c if u hear drums[u do have a drummer selected]..It will work my friend..and the rewards are plenty..peace

hmmmmmmmmmm....not sure what to say....anymore I have bypassed my sound card all together in my computer and use the POD as the master accross the board. Try going into your controll panel of Windows for "sounds and audio" and set your GuitarPort as the master to see if that helps.
