I have been using this software for about 2 years and have recently upgraded to version 2 and Gearbox. I have recorded many songs as well as half a dozen on the new software. I have always been able to get a great acoustic tone out of my Taylor 314 by using the default acoustic preset and toying with volume. Tonight I started getting intense feedback and a horrible sound. This is a sound that reminds me of an electric guitar with heavy distortion feeding back into my headphones. It seems to start after about 5 seconds, and then I lose the signal entirely. It will not even register in the tuner. I have alot of wireless computer hardware which would be my first thought had I not gone so long without seeing this problem. I have also tried multiple guitar cords to no avail. I can unplug the cord and plug it back in to get the nice warm crisp tone for about 5 seconds and then it happens again even before I am able to record. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

::I also might add that I am able to play through my amplifier with no problems whatsoever. I have tried using the hum reducer utility, and I have LCD flat panel monitors.

Somehow the gain must be higher than before? I have a plastic soundhole cover on mine that pretty much eliminates all feedback with a little tone loss. Nothing like getting a jolt of feedback into an acoustic guitar.

Many thanks for the suggestion. It worked brilliantly and often times the most obvious solution is not even considered. I have had this "Feedback Buster" in my guitar case for years :)
