Yes, its true, I killed a guitarport. Not on purpose though.. In fact line 6 was nice enough to send me a nice red shiny new one after I sent the dead one back to them. When I boot Riffworks its telling me I need to ACTIVATE RW again (buy it again). I cant see the way to transfer the licenses I bought over to the new one.

I hope this doesnt mean that I have to pay for it a second time. Whats up with this?

I talked with the guy in charge of the west coast for line 6.. Devon.. I think was the name. They were extremely cool. as I say.. My guitarport was basically on fire.. All the electronics were cooked. For all you guys with borked strings and space heaters, learn from my mistake,, cut those wires as soon as they break! As for the old guitarport, they couldnt fix it,, and generously gave me a new one completely free, even though I caused the whole problem. I didnt think they would deal with the sonoma keys since sonoma is up an running with their own store now.

I guess I'll call them back.
