RiffWorks Line 6 Edition and RiffWorks Standard require that you launch GearBox separately, either before or after you launch RiffWorks.

Click on the AUDIO SETUP button within RiffWorks and make sure the correct audio input device is selected. It could be that it's selecting another device by default.

Please be more specific. What exactly does it say?

Thanks!

So, you've selected the ASIO GuitarPort Driver in RiffWorks. That should be right. There are a couple things to check in GearBox. The first is a question of which meter lights your talking about. The ones in the lower left of RiffWorks should be working. the ones next to the gain and pan knobs will only work if you have hardware monitoring turned off. If you don't see anything in the lower left meters, please check the record level in the Gear Box application.

None of the meter lights work.
I tried what you suggested.

Now in the setup I have no choices for devie selection.
Seems to me that this program has a lot of bugs.

The old riffworks at least worked.

I'll keep trying things, so keep sending.
