I used SongLayers the other night for my RiffRumbleIV tune. I noticed that it added about 5 or 6 seconds at the end of the song? I'm guessing this is because of the viewing window that you allow to show the song scrolling by?

Is there any way to illiminate this from the overall song? What I was concerned about is that if you mixed down to wav and strung a few songs together on a CD with 2 or 3 second gap between each song... the gap would now be 7-9 seconds?

Let me know.
Thanks,
Brent.

I haven't run into this problem yet anyhow so don't have a RiffWorks solution for you. After mix down to wave though you should be able to edit this tail off with a wave editing software program such as WaveLab. There are some free ones that several here on the forum mention and use. Audacity I believe is one of 'em.

Audacity or Reaper work great and there free........
I beleive the extra time is added on if you're in songlayers mode during playback............. but it won't add it in the final mixdown....
I have songlayers on my RiffRumble entry and it ends fine

That probably has to do with our tailing mechanism. We have to give room for any effects to tail out like delays and reverbs or they'll sounds chopped off. It is also possible that it is something else entirely.
