Right basically I've been using riffworks for about 2-3 months now and it was completely fine, great programme. Then about 2 weeks ago bursts of white noise started appearing, they only appear when I'm using riffworks and I can't figure out how to stop it at all.
Any ideas? Cheers

Andy you probably need a PCI based Usb card to get around the Intel chip. The chip is the problem. I had to do the same thing when i updated to Gear box from guitar port. they run anywhere from 10 to 25.00. But that should take care of it and it is quite easy to install.

Peace

I was able to fix the same problem by turning off my internal wireless card while running RW2L6 with Gearbox.

Hi,

Do the bursts of noise come in at random intervals or do they repeat at a specific time? I know that if you run Amplitube LE in demo mode after it's expired that it will insert white noise while in use. Other plugins will do the same thing.

Can you post an example of what the noise sounds like?

Thanks!
Randy
