cant download drummers ??

hi there,

i have purchased 4 new drummers

i get the icon on my desktop and when i go to run this it comes up that windows does
not detect where this file has come from !!

everything else has downloaded and run fine

its just the drummers i am having trouble with !!

anyone know of a solution ??

Hi Paul,

Are you trying to use the drummers you purchased from our website with the new version of RiffWorks, or with version 1? The drummers will only work with the latest versions, so you'll either need to upgrade RiffWorks or we'll have to issue you a refund for the drummers.

Upgrading is really quite inexpensive, as Line 6 is offering version 2 for just $29.99 to RiffWorks 1 customers. That also includes two additional drummers. More info can be found at Line 6's site at http://www.line6.com/riffworks/faq.html

Let us know if you are already using RW 2, or if you're using RW 1 and would like to opt for a refund for the drummers.

hi Randy,

i upgraded to riffworks 2 and i am running the line 6 edition

i got these at the same time - RiffWorks 2 Line 6 Edition Upgrade, Bass Expansion

this is the right upgrade i hope !!

i have 6 drummers so it must be correct !!

if i can i'd rather try and get the drummers up and running
and only using a refund as a last resort

result, i installed the drummers manually by moving them to
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataSonoma Wire Worksdrummers

started up riffworks and there they were waiting
