For those that do not know, with the Gearbox update 3.0 for Toneport, you can now send a completely dry signal from the 3/4 send while monitoring the 1/2 by setting the 3/4 send to "pre" instead of "post"

This will not do you any good with Riffworks however unless you want to make tones with the Sonoma7. I doubt I will ever get into re-amping because normally when change a tone, you'll probably need to change the performance too. Also Im not planning on buying the Gearbox VST's and really dont care if riffworks supports re-amping or not.

I would however love to have the VST for post recording work as would probably everyone.

As far as free mastering tools for other programs the only ones Ive been using are the Kjaerhus ones.

For Dan, Dave, Dug, or Randy, Timejunkie asked a question as to whether the compression was fixed as it was being applied twice in V1 when using mix to riff. I'd like to really try to master tracks with riffworks effects using mix to riff again. Plenty of what we hear going straight through riffworks sounds great, but when we get that one song that we really want to polish its nice to have those other options.

A piano has about 7.500 moving parts - that's why I play the guitar...

Guys I just want to point out one thing. I know some of us (myself included!) run our PC's up to their limits with RiffWorks...towards the end of most songs my PC is gasping for breath after I apply all the effects etc.

Adding mastering on top of that (through VST's or whatever) is probably going to make that worse! Me personally, I'd rather have a clean mixdown to work with than try to do it in the same song file.

Actually, I am a transplant and a Razorback fan so I was really pulling for FL Saturday. Just don't tell anybody around here.

The only feature I would really like to see myself is support for Master and Slave modes in ReWire. Wave import would be my second choice.

Re: Double Application of the Limiter

That was definitely filed as a bug against RiffWorks Standard and we fixed all the filed bugs. I can't guarantee it because I didn't fix that one myself, but it should be fixed.
