I have noticed on occasion that when I click in the timeline to fast forward to a riff the riff will stick to the cursor and be bumped out of the line.
Also as some have said I can't scrol thru some riffs with multiple layers even if I close out and come back in it won't work or clicking somewhere else it won't work either and when this happens on the dial another bar doesn't light up showing there are riffs there but they most certainly are. Also along these some lines If I have a layer at the bottom of the page and hit info or effects I can't scroll down to access those as well. Same thing even if I close out and come back in. Just doesn't work. But there are riffs within the same song that work properly
Also I have noticed that my layers sometimes move around within the riff. Say there are 5 layers and numbers 1 thru 5 well number 1 will say move to 3 and 3 to 2 and just mix them up for some reason. Has anyone reported these?
Thanks
Rich

Thanks for reporting them.
In the first paragraph, it looks like its trying to drag the riff brick around in the song timeline. Usually we get the drag message directly from Windows. Does this happen a lot? Or to anyone else out there? We might be able to force a way around it if that's whats going on.
I think what you're talking about in the second paragraph is covered by a bug we know about in the riff screen scroller. It is filed and should be fixed in the next update.
That is very weird. I can't say that I even understand how that would happen. Their names change as well? Or just their order in the screen?

Dave on the first paragraph in the first version of Riffworks instead of hitting the fastforward or reverse button on the timeline I could click in the timeline when the song is playing and move to the beginning of a riff. It still works sometimes that way but other times it will grab the riff like I am holding down the left mouse butting to drag and drop even thought I'm not holding the button down. So eventually I loose the riff out of the timeline. Does that make better sense?
I know we talked about the scrooling but like I said with mine I can't scroll even when I click out then back in
Third the names dont change just the order they are in and they are still the same layer. I know this has happened because I usually record a clean layer thruought the song first then add other parts and in some of my songs the clean layer has moved down the list. So they have moved. I don't know how it has happened either but most certainly has. Sorry bout that one
