I've got the guitarport and have had it for a couple years. Last year I got the riffworks from line6 and really like it for simple recording.
This morning, I went ahead and upgraded to the newest version via line 6. Did everything they were saying as far as using the monkey, making sure my drivers were up to date, downloading the programs, and also picked up gear box. They all seem to work fine.
Problem is that I cant hear anything when I am playing on the latest riffworks. I get the indicator lights on the bottom left when I strum. Also, if I record, I hear it when I playback. I went to audio setup and there is nothing else offered but what the settings are already set at. I am unable to turn the gain and pan knobs at the bottom and don't know if this is related.
Hopefully this is something stupid that I have just overlooked but I did a form search under monitor and guitar monitor and couldn't find anything. Anyone with a link to a post or any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There are two ways to hear your audio live with RiffWorks now. In your case, both would require having the GearBox application running as well as RiffWorks. (This is definitely different from the last version.) If you open GearBox and still can't hear the audio as you play it, check the "monitor" settings in GearBox. You should have the monitor level turned up so you can listen to it live.

The other option is to click the "Hardware" button in the RiffWorks input panel and turn down the monitor level in GearBox. In this case, you can use RiffWorks effects, pan, and gain on your live signal but you might incur a little more latency.

Problem solved. Thanks Dave...I appreciate the help. Not sure why I had such a hard time figuring that out.
