hello everybody!
I'm from France and sorry but my english is very very bad !
I have 2 problems with my registration with Riffworks.

1/ I have purshased riffworks line 6 edition v2 on the line 6 website.
the problem is that I have just windows 2000 on my PC.
after download , I had just riffworks 1 !why ?
the v2 is just for windows XP ?

2/ and it's necessary to be connected on the web to use riffworks 1 and v2 ? I had another PC ( with windows XP) but it is not connected to internet ?
Can I use riffworks v2 without a internet connection ?
Can I transfer all my download files to a PC not connected on the web ?

THANK YOU for the answers.
long life to riffworks!
and sorry sorry for my english! ;)

I had to do some looking as I didn't know the "requirements" for Version II.
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/riffworksrequirements.php has the list and it shows only XP for Windows.
You do need to be connected to the internet for activation. Also for the other online features....RiffLink and RiffCaster.
I do think there is an offline way for activation but not sure how that is done.

ok thank you camaro24gold !
riffworks v2 just for windows xp....

it's a great pity ! and when I purchased riffworks v2 with my credits card, I beleved that I receive my riffworks in my house by the post.
but no, it's just a download and not riffworks on cd ......

and now the problem is : riffworks is installed on my girlfriend PC ! lol!
and me , i don't have an internet connection on my other pc.
I live with my girfriend and we have got 2 pc ( just the girlfriend pc is connected.....)
impossible to transfer Riffworks to my other pc?
perhaps a WI FI system ?

thank you camaro !

You would have to install the Monkey... and RiffWorks... and GearBox... and the Line 6 driver - then temporarily connect your computer to the internet to let the Monkey authorize that one to use RiffWorks. Once it is authorized by the Monkey, I think you can use everything without an internet connection.

RiffWorks Line 6 Edition does work under Windows ME... but with a 1 GHz Pentium III and a motherboard that only accepts 512MB it's not worth the effort. Plus the PCI wireless card wreaks it's own brand of havoc.

Yes...just connect the XP one to the internet the one time for activation of RW. After that you'll be up and running w/o internet needs for recording and writing tunes.
You will need only be connected to net for (1) activation of RiffWorks (2) Use of RiffCaster and RiffLink if you care to use those features (3) Downloading Instant Drummers and software updates
