Ask Scott AKA (Paul Stanley)... he's a beta tester and yes I believe they're still in Beta testing. Check out the comments to his post

Can't say much, other than what has already been said by Dan, Dave and Dug. It's all very positive ... just hang in there!
Cheers!

Here's the info from the Sonoma WireWorks newsletter:

FREE UPGRADE TO RIFFWORKS VERSION 2 FOR USERS WHO PURCHASE RIFFWORKS
ON OR AFTER FEBRUARY 1, 2006
Users who purchase and activate RiffWorks Recording Software or Line 6 GuitarPort RiffTracker with RiffWorks on or after February 1, 2006 will receive a complimentary upgrade to RiffWorks V2 Line 6 Edition from Line 6 when it is released. This offer includes purchases made on or after February 1, 2006 in any store that sells GuitarPort RiffTracker (like Guitar Center and Musician's Friend) as well as online purchases of RiffWorks for GuitarPort and the PODxt line from the Line 6 store. Details for users who are eligible for the free upgrade will be announced when it is available.

For users who purchased RiffWorks prior to February 1st, 2006, the upgrade pricing to RiffWorks Version 2 will be $30.

Version 2 will be the first release for MacOS, so the above offer only applies to Windows users.

Cheers,
Al

I just looked at the Namm 2006 Summer Session brochure and did not see Sonoma listed.
