I have purchased RiffWorks and $100 worth of drumms to go with it but I cant use the drums until I activate Riffworks. I purchased it on my small internet computer to install on my DAW which is a dual zeon windows xp pro system . I dont hook this computer up to the internet it is stricktly for music production. I need to know how do I activate RiffWorks on this computer. When I use my Name and password as I do to log in online it doesn't work. I cant use the druims so it's very frustrating. I've emailed support twice since yesterday morning and I haven't recieved a response to my email and I checked to see if I entered the right email
tedgrimes@sbcglobal.net Can someone please help! I'm anxious to start using the software but all I can do is play around with the demos when I have all these great drums and I cant use them. Very frustrating!

Thats not possible the DAW is not set up for the internet. I built it for Music production and I didnt ant to chance viruses and All the the internet stuff conflicts heavily with a power DAW. So if it's not possible then sadly I guess I'll have to get a refund. Its seems it should be a way. Line 6 has a setup in there manual which allowed me to activate the TonePort and all the plugins and add ons. Cant I activate and transfer it to another computer. Any support staff out there that can help?

I figured it out by accident. When you are asked to activate the product choose the potion to save the file to your computer instead of activating online. A data file with the RiffWorks Logo is downloaded to your computer. The file is a 2kb data file is called Sonoma Wire Works Combined Registration Activation. Copy the file to the install directory where you have RiffWorks installed. Dont choose to activate when you install RiffWorks on the first boot. When you restart the application instead of it askinf for the Sonoma Key you get a licence agreement pop up. Click yes and your ready to go. So far its working for me. The drummers are loading without any problem. Pass this on to anyone who might run into the same problem

I think that this should not be possible, as it is seemingly a breach in product security and integrity. What stops Riffworks from hitting the torrent sites if something like this were possible?
