Couldn't wait, had to give it a try. Just tried JohnN's process listed above.

Everything works till I get to hitting the record button in RW - everytime I hit record I crash and get the unhandled exception error message along with a horrible noise.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Funny you should say that. It has happened a couple of times with me - but not the majority of times. I wish I could predict when it will happen. I'll keep my eyes open and report when/if I notice anything.

I'm wondering about the rewire bit my self...I have other wav files that I would like to use in loops form...I have reaper.....but when I open it after RW I get the ASIO fight....can anyone lead me in the direction of how to use rewire with just wav loops...thnx

Thanks everybody for your help and input so far.

I hope this makes sense...

I drag and drop an Addictive Drums MIDI file into Reaper, then render it out as a wave file.

Then I close down Reaper and open the wave file in Intelliriffer. I save the wave file as a Riffworks file and opening RW I import the riff into the program. The drum pattern is now a layer in a riff in RW and I can add my other instruments as additional layers.

Thats all I have figured out so far but it seems to work pretty flawlessly. Just can't change the tempo without going back into Reaper.

It's better than nothing...

Another option is to put it up for collab then Mickey will come along and bang the crap out of an old beer tray because he thinks it sounds like a cowbell and then if you're really lucky Pooter or Jesse will come along and add air guitar ;)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!
