I have riffworks t4 installed on a vista machine using a digi rack 002 as an interface.

I was using it the other day in Hardware mode, when riffworks crashed. The audio continued to play but the riffworks interface would not respond. I waited several minutes before manual stopping the riffworks application using the task manager.

When I restarted riffworks Hardware mode no longer would output sound through my digi 002. I can see that it is receiving sound but not sending anything out. When I switch of Hardware mode, everything works fine.

I tried rebooting, cycling power and even uninstalled riffworks and did a registry scrub and reinstalled. With no success in re-enabling the hardware mode.

Can anyone help? I can use software mode but I prefer Hardware since I do not need effects.

Thanks,
Drew

here's a shot in the dark:

someday it happened the same to me... it was weird... so I went to Audio properties in windows xp and saw the faders... one was down...

It may happen, but I can't assure you this is the issue in your case.

Thanks for the suggestions but it is still not working. The Digi 002 Rack is a firewire interface so I tried unplugging it, waiting 20 seconds and then plugging it back in with no success. I also searched through the audio properties and found no sliders.
