hardware question- condenser microphone

Hello,

I am new to riffworks and recording, i just purchased a line6 UX2 and an electrovoice cardinal condenser microphone. I have line6 podfarm and riffworks downloaded to my computer and I can plug my electric guitar into the UX2 and I get sound, but i cannot seem to get sound with my mic. the mic runs on 48v phantom and i have the mic power button pressed on the UX2 but still no sound sound...does anyone have any suggestions? i am sure there is something simple i am overlooking..

In Podfarm..........middle left, next to the mute button, , click Instrument and change your input to Mic 1 or Mic 2 depending on where you're plugged in to......you should now hear it.
