I run XP and PreSonus Firestudio Project. My system works well - I use Sonar to record with regularily with no issues. My system is not hosed.

I purchased RiffWorks Standard on CD and installed it (with Amplitube). I was shown the activation process and went through that. After install, when I try to run the program I get nothing, nadda, kaput. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I installed again. Nuttin - So I thought maybe it was my firewall or Norton messing with the install so tried a 3rd time. Nope - nothing, nadda, kaput.

I don't get an error and it's not even running in my task list.

Try this, in Task manager click the Processes Tab, scroll down the alphabetical list and see if there are instances of Riffworks running in there, if so click on the one using the most resources and then click the End Process tab. I sometimes get a situation when I start RW and nothing happens, no interface, Nada, same as you. This resolves it for me 99% of the time.

Hopefully this will get you going and welcome to the nuthouse called Riffworld mate :)

Come back to us either way and let us know, if still no go we'll try something else. It's always worth going through the customer service forum and letting Sonoma know.

No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

Check your system event logs to see if you get any info from there.

R-Click "My Computer">Manage>Event Viewer. Check the System and Application logs.
