Hello,

I'm having quite a bit of trouble with this one. The following sequence leads to a RW crash for me every time:

1. start RW with default settings
2. keep the default 'riff1' and make no other modifications
3. hit record
4. provide input during the layer (talk into a mic; make a guitar note, etc)
5. a new layer is automatically created at the end of the current layer
6. repeat steps 5-6 forever and there is no crash
7. get bored with this and now let a layer go by with *zero* input (e.g.,
turn off the microphone; make zero guitar noises).
8. about 90% of the time RW will crash at the beginning of the next layer
9. 100% of the time it will crash by the beginning of the second layer after
this (perhaps on the 10% cases i made a small noise that I didn't realize).

I've tried reloading everything - ASIO drivers; RW; even windows.

Using a toneport ux2 and RW std.

Just for fun, can anyone else reproduce this?

thanks!

Yes: Can confirm this. Also reported this about 2.5 months ago to support.

Mine crashes in a infinite loop as well after the 2nd-4th layer of recording. Then I have to shut off my PODxt Live and restart it all over again only to have it do the same thing =( I would not pay for this program if the Lite version is any sign of what the paid version is like.

Hi,

my version of RIFFWORK standard sometimes crashes during software's loading.

After that my Toneport UX8 blinks and I have to reset my computer because the connection is lost.

Some advice?

Thanks.
