I've been using Podfarm for ages, but tried gearbox today. However, although I get sound out of gearbox none of the meters move and no sound is recorded in Riffworks. used to be alright. Also, has anyone managed to get any of that Syntax bundle of tones to work with Podfarm. They won't for me, they don't show up at all., although they do in Gearbox...

i just checked my farm and it seems all the pod farm pre-sets are gone.

i just updated to 1.11. reinstalling now to see if they come up again.

i can't find the syntax bundle on gearbox anymore. i had moved some of them when i got pf. they did work.

maybe line 6 is having issues.

you might need to do a rescan(refresh) for the presets.
It takes a bit of time and lot of system resources if you have a lot of tones..

Also before doing rescan check the folder in pod farm so see if it's referring to proper folders your tones are in.

Thanks Amit, but I've run the rescan 2 or three times and they still don't show up in Podfarm presets, but they are there (I've checked in the folder), and they show up in Gearbox. I've even opened one in Gearbox and then saved it to my personal folder in Podfarm, but still no luck. Mind you, I do need to get rid of all the duplicate tones I have hanging round in Gearbox...Still can't get gearbox to record sound, might try reinstalling it.

colin just a quick check, is the syntaxsinner budle you have a .gpt file or a .l6t/.l6b extension file.

The .gpt won't load on podfarm, so you might need to download the .l6* file.

I'm at work at the moment, so I'll check tomorrow. Are they both available from the same link?

I think the bundle uploaded by flexkill should work right away as it is in l6t format.

Thanks again Amit. But I click that link and it asks me what application I want to associate the file with. I select Podfarm, it opens podfarm, but the tones are not there. I also tried saving the file and I can see it in the Podfarm tones folder from My Computer, but the presets do not show up in Podfarm. Any other ideas?

I did get Gearbox working again though, although I had to reinstall it.

Colin,
here is a screen shot on how it should look.
i am also attaching my copy of syntaxsinner bundle that i converted from the gpt format. see if that works for you. (you will need to extract the l6c file from the zip and put that under pod farm folder).

OT but I had all these bundles at one time and I seem to remember that VTM bundle as much more useable than the SyntaxSinner bundle.

I see you have the VTM bundle which is much better than the SyntaxSinner one imo. I have them all on a backup drive somewhere, the VTM's were the best.

I have been following the thread and downloaded the Syntax file and placed it in the pod farm folder but it does not show up when i launch Pod Farm. Is there a difference between the Pod Farm folder in My Documents or Program Files and where should it be placed?

Thanks
