ok my mic is one of those mics that arent usb and plug into the computer where it has the pic of a mic by it. its a little hole next to the earphone hole.
but yeah, its plugged to the back right now and its under Sigmatel High Def. Audio CODEC under "REAR MIC" on my Sound thing on control panel.
anyways, it works in audacity but idk how to configure it on Riffworks

Riffworks needs to see an ASIO Device, you can download ASIO4ALL (you can soon find it if you Google it) and get it to work that way I reckon but I think you would have to plug the mic into Line In on your soundcard and then click Hardware at the bottom of Riffworks and go from there.
