1) History:
Here's great advice Wedgebill graciously provided me, Re. recording vocals & leads on the time-line (not in the riff layer itself).
Record your vocals on the songline then it'll be independent of the Riff Effects plus you can put separate effects on each layer in the songline. Also there will be no "Riff Joint" glitches in your vocal [or guitar lead], if you get my drift. Only thing is you must have made your decision about the songline arrangement because if you alter the riff positions, lengthen or shorten the song etc the songline vox [or guitar lead] won't alter and could be totally out of sync!

2) I goofed!
SOS... help save me, for I ended up recording a brief lead on the song-layer, which sucks! I came across a Prob.! I accidentally recorded a brief lead part onto the song time-line (not within the riff layer, as was suggested that I try, per the forum contact's instructions), but I shouldn't have. I was just trying it out that way, but forgot that I was warned by Wedgebill, that it's permanent and can't be deleted! I ruined that riff in the song time-line, for it sounds bad.

3) My question?
So here's my question, folks: can I export all of the riffs from my song, and transfer those exported riffs (minus the ruined one that has that bad lead), so that I can recreate the song all over (almost from scratch)? Can I save my song from ruin, by exporting the desired riffs that I already recorded, and just reassemble them into a new song time-line (in other words, a new song), in order to save face? Hope my explanation's clear? 8-( :::

Thanks for your kind help, folks!

You can export separate riffs by 'right clicking' on the ones you want to use in another song, save them individually as separate .rwr files and then import them one at a time in to the new file.
As an alternative, I'm wondering if you've considered 'muting' the layer in the songline that you're not happy with or use the 'info' button to take out a part of the layer by lowering the audio signal to zero.
Cheers!
Scott

You can delete the offending songlayer part if it's unlocked and still keep the vocals...just click the songlayer brick and delete.....to lock or unlock a layer, click the white lock....it'll turn red when locked. Or like Scott says, use the info button and click and drag the blue WAV line down to zero if neccesary to mute the bad notes.
