Rifflink User Name Change?

Hi all,

I downloaded RiffWorks T4 back when it was first launched but for whatever reason didnt use it at all and so uninstalled it. Having recently got an iPhone, I found the 4-Track application and so downloaded T4 again to ahve a look what the wifi-sync was like. Anyway, needless to say I soon discovered how superb RiffWorks is and I have recorded more and better stuff in the last few days than I ever have using GarageBand or similar DAW's!

Anywya, just one question. Back from when I first installed T4 I signed up with some username which is one I used to use for various forums and stuff. However, I will now be using Rifflink for some 'proper' collaboration with various people and so wanted a slightly more 'mature' username. I created a new Sonoma Key but can't change the username in the RiffLink section of Riffworks. I presume there is some file somewhere on my mac that keeps the info on stuff like that, just wondering if anyone knew where it was so I can get rid of it! Or if not, is there another way of changing my login name?

Hey mate,

This is the reply I got from Randy when I asked about a username change on a PC running Vista. I don't imagine it will be exactly the same on a Mac but I would reckon you have to find the Mac version of the Program Data folder and follow Randy's instructions from there. It might be worth uninstalling Riffworks first as well

You need to go to this directory on Vista (it may be hidden):
C:Program DataSonoma Wire Works and then delete everything in there including the drummers folder.

Once that's gone, reinstall RiffWorks.

Aha, that did the trick....well second time round as the actual registration file is located in a totally different place from everything else! But it is sorted now, cheers!

Now let the music creation commence......
