I just downloaded the free version of Pod Farm...If you have Gearbox it is a free download...just wondering if anyone uses it...any better than Gear box.....any tips?

As far as tips, here's the only one I could think of off the top of my head. Set up some dual tone patches using two of your favorite amp models. Pan them left and right till they sound good. Now when you record in Riffworks, it's like you recorded two different guitar parts with two different patches, but you only had to play it one time. Neato torpedo!

Both go in the same track........ amp Left will stay panned left and amp Right will stay panned right. In the mixer section of Pod Farm, when you have a dual tone selected, make sure you have (mix Tone 1 and Tone 2) selected or you will only have Tone 1 on your recording.miksta wrote:Will this work with the free version of Riffworks also?
Yes it (dual tones) should work with T4 (free version) of Riffworks.
