Hey gang, first let me say WOW about the new program and site. I was shockd to all of a sudden see an all new revampd site and wow to the new v2and a double wow to all the drum choices and a tripple WOW for the 60 day free Rifflink. I am extreemly pumpd to get started.

So with all the mass postings about the new program, i wiil ask my direct question for a direct answer.Ok here we go: I have guitar port and Riffworks v1, i want to crossgrade to v2 ($59). Can i do this and how?

You guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am Jackd .
Oh btw during the weekend my song post was not able to be posted so now with the new forme, how do i post my ogg file that was created last week before the transition took place?
Thanks to all you Sonoma Heads ( Staff and musicians) for one of the best products to this date. (Yea , i dont have v2 yet but i know what to expect and then some!!!!)
Sonoma Wire Works ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yahstek1,

I think Shred himself ran into this... Is there a red error box somewhere on the screen? Jumping back usually means there was an error in one of the fields.

I and some others couldn't put the coupon code in manually it needed to be copied and pasted. That had me going for a day!! I'm pretty sure thats the problem

You can only post v2 songs now from within RW.

Yahsteck1 I haven't tried it yet but I believe if you open your v1 songs in v2 then you can post your songs. Like I said I haven't tried it yet but since you don't have to mix to ogg file and just hit the riffcast button sounds logical.

That should work, inport the old version and upload to RC via V2.

You just hit the button, fill in the info and let it fly. Sonoma's server has to do a bit of work to get it set up, so might take a few minutes or more (I'll buy you a beer while you wait Rick!).

Remember; i created the song a week ago with v1 but when i tryd to post it over the weekend, sonoma was changing over to the new riffcaster. Is it like Bluesdude said that you can onley post v2 songs.Shouldn't it work when i load the v1 file into the v2?

Well Rick, I guess I owe you one more! Try it again, I see a couple others got theirs posted since you tried. Maybe just one of those things, lost in the ether some where?
