That funny....I just took a "Dump File" about 10 minutes ago.....no problems here!!!? :D

I don't have much in the way of complaints for RiffWorks, mostly praise...... I notice once in a while when listening back to the song you have built, the tracks you have overdubbed on the song layer get out of sync on playback. Minor annoyance as stopping playback and starting again always sovles this problem.

I only wish the ID was a little more comprehensive when it comes to off-time breaks and fills - to follow the chord progression beats and breaks - stuff like that. (I posted on the "new ideas for riffworks" thread in more detail.)

I think the only major bug I have a gripe about is actually about RiffWorld. Some times when you click on the flash media player for a song you want to listen too, it looks like it loads but never plays (and the play counter is increased btw). It is most likely a server issue on the back end, but when I have participated in the Rumbles and sent my link out to all my friends and family and stuff, some of them write me back saying they couldn't get the song to play. I have experienced this myself first hand and it is quite frustrating. Usually this issue happens around riff-rumble time, which is why I think it's a server/capacity issue. I have had the problem on IE / FIREFOX / CHROME, running on Windows Vista (i know, I know, Vista sucks, but I don't think it is the cause as I have also had the issue on XP, too)

I hear a lot of problems lately with RiffLink, but I have not participated in any yet so I don't know.

I also think that RiffWorld deserves a re-vamp. The community behind this is extremely tight and positive. It is really crying out to be set up more like a social network than it is.... that being said, I can't stand Myspace/Facebook myself, but RiffWorld really needs something along those lines to really let it grow.

My mac computer loads the program off of the CD, but will not let it run at all, it just quits unexpectedly! I have tried everything in the forums, posted in the forums, and no answer from anyone. I have tried uninstalling everything and rebooting, deleting cache, making sure I load in on the administrator, and tried doing permission repairs. Nothing has worked. I have hit a total wall. the program can't even get updated because it crashes immediately. I though perhaps I could download the newest version of the program online, but it says I never even purchased the thing, although its loaded and working on my PC no problem with a verified key. I wanted riffworks mostly for my mac because its a portable laptop and I could take it with me wherever I go and record with ease, but the only think I have gotten is headaches. Please help!

I wish it could export to MP3 directly, and I think it would be cool if there was some sort of mastering limiter that you could apply to the MP3 track to get the volume higher without having to use another software program.

RiffCasting gives you an MP3 link on your song posting page on RiffWorld.com.
