I don't have much in the way of complaints for RiffWorks, mostly praise...... I notice once in a while when listening back to the song you have built, the tracks you have overdubbed on the song layer get out of sync on playback. Minor annoyance as stopping playback and starting again always sovles this problem.
I only wish the ID was a little more comprehensive when it comes to off-time breaks and fills - to follow the chord progression beats and breaks - stuff like that. (I posted on the "new ideas for riffworks" thread in more detail.)
I think the only major bug I have a gripe about is actually about RiffWorld. Some times when you click on the flash media player for a song you want to listen too, it looks like it loads but never plays (and the play counter is increased btw). It is most likely a server issue on the back end, but when I have participated in the Rumbles and sent my link out to all my friends and family and stuff, some of them write me back saying they couldn't get the song to play. I have experienced this myself first hand and it is quite frustrating. Usually this issue happens around riff-rumble time, which is why I think it's a server/capacity issue. I have had the problem on IE / FIREFOX / CHROME, running on Windows Vista (i know, I know, Vista sucks, but I don't think it is the cause as I have also had the issue on XP, too)
I hear a lot of problems lately with RiffLink, but I have not participated in any yet so I don't know.
I also think that RiffWorld deserves a re-vamp. The community behind this is extremely tight and positive. It is really crying out to be set up more like a social network than it is.... that being said, I can't stand Myspace/Facebook myself, but RiffWorld really needs something along those lines to really let it grow.
