Problem Saving

Ok when i save my project that i have been working on in an invite only online collaberation I click saveas at the top and it saves but when i open it later the layers are not there and there is no sound what is the deal its saving something because the file that saved is usually around 4 to 10 megs or depending. why is this and how do i save my work to my computer? Some help would be nice as i have lost work before on the riffworks servers.

I may be wrong, and someone will correct me if I am for sure.. but if its a rifflink you would have to export it to your computer in order to save it to local disk.?? I don't think the "save as" works with online rifflinks.....
