I have a severe an quite timewasting problem. Sometime it happens that all the Gain Automations I have made during recording the song have vanished. So I have to set them all new. I COULDN´T correlate this to a special action in RIFFWORKS. Sometimes it seems to habben when I start Riffworks without thePOD X3. Is there any help?

Next time this happens, simply close RiffWorks without saving anything. Relaunch RiffWorks and reopen the song. Are the settings still missing?

Does it ONLY occur when the Pod X3 is not connected? Has it ever occurred with the Pod connected?

Thanks,
Garrett

Thank you Garret for your quick reply, I will observe it in detail and report you. However, I think it was only when running Riffworks without the X3.

Another issue occured (not severe): after having listend to the song in the song timeline an then again listening to a single riff, I can only hear the drums. When clicking a second time on play the whole riff comes.

By the way, Riffworks is more than great, its simply fantastic !!!!
If I would have had it in the 80´s already and not my Tascam 6track recorder, you would know me now from the Number 1 CHarts ;-)))))

One thing would be great: if single layers could be copied from riff to riff.

Thanks again,

cheers from Austria

Hi Garret,

I observed it for quite a lot times and it does ONLY occur when the Pod X3 is not connected. It has never occurred with the Pod connected.

Do you have an explanation?

Thanks

Hey Garrett,

Did you get a chance to try out Bill's repeatable method of making this happen? The details are in your post asking for specific information from about a month ago.

This has been around for quite some time now, and it is very very annoying.

I, like many others, would appreciate getting this issue resolved, or a work-around.

Thanks,
Ron

Hey Stymie,

you have the same problem with gain automation? A big problem is that you can´t work on your song, i.e. arranging wihout the POD connected.

Bye
