All the meters light up when I play my instrument and I can hear that thru the monitors.
Instant drummer moves the master meters but no sound thru the monitors.
Everything records? But no playback.
This started all of the sudden and I'm at a loss to what is going on.

Line6 Pod x3 Left and right outputs connected to emu sound card. Pod USB connected to usb input on computer

Did something change and I'm missing it?

Checked all the audio settings and still nothing.
Help

Thanks

Try closing RW, unplugging and re-plugging the POD then start RW again. Check that the POD is still the preferred ASIO device by clicking the Audio Setup button in RW, bottom right.
Also check with the Line 6 Monkey that all the drivers and software updates are installed.
Cheers!

Hi Thanks for the reply,
Everything is up to date and I have also tried re-installing drivers ect: Unplug usb line to pod and re plug pod. Still no sound from Drummer just master meter movement.
Device Asio Pod x3
Outputs 1 and outputs 2
Can hear the guitar just fine and see it play thru the meters but no sound on playback. I'm at a loss!

My Sonar 7 works fine
Zgoing wacky here............................

When the Pod is plugged in the USB port, it becomes your soundcard so I believe your headphones should be plugged in there (Pod) and you'll also hear the drummers there as well.

If you could hear the drummers before with that set-up plugged into your EMU soundcard, then it sounds like a setting on the Pod itself was changed.

Ah....and right you are. I think I need to read the Pod manual again because how it ever got changed I'll never know. Even after going back to the factory settings it still did not work right.

I went to the outputs button and held it down>Got 1/4 inch outputs screen that said Studio-Direct-Tone 1-Mode
I then turned the knob above the AMP button and walla up came the drums on Match-Studio/Direct.

Some days I just sit and try to figure this stuff out when all I want to do is play.

Thanks Mickey
