Hello There Folks
I just finished re installing Guitar Port and T4 after a blue screen of death caused a full wipe and start over. Befor this I was able to use Both my sound blaster card and guitar port for sound. Now all I can enable is Guitar port if I try to enable Sound blaster all I get is massive feedback thru the system. Also if I open Pod Farm I loose guitar port all together with out shutting down the comp and bringing the system back up. My system is a Dell XPS 720 Core Duo E6850 3.0 Gig with 4 gig orf ram Creative SB X-Fi, KRK Rocket 5 powered monitors. All the drivers are up to date.

Thanks Fathertime

hey the guitar port is supposed to "take over" as your sound card. If your pc's soundcard is still enabled some how it can cause your system to become unstable. There is a setting for windows (assuming windows pc?) -- where you can set guitar port as your input and your output device. There is no need to try and run your sound card at the same time as the guitar port is an excellent a/d converter at 32 bit and is probably better than any factory loaded or store bought sound card can do with RWS or any of your DAW software.

Sorry this is the only reply in over a month, but I just happened to see this.

Hope it helps!

Creative drivers have been known to wreak havoc on Line 6 drivers.....I myself have the same drivers and all works fine but some have reported problems with Creative ASIO drivers and Line 6, and have reported success after disabling the Creative drivers......GuitarPort IS your soundcard by default once installed and you won't need the Creative one.

So in a nutshell ....try disabling the Creative sound card and see if that works for you. :)
