Problems with 3/4 time signature in RiffWorks

I tried to create a 3/4 beat (and other odd time signatures) in Riff Work but the drums don't seem to respond to it, they keep playing 4/4 style, without respecting the beginning of the 3/4 bar. The metronome is perfect, it does its job but the drums beats don't and the entire thing doesn't feel like a 3/4 at all.

Has anyone found the same problem? I hope I'm just missing something because it's a rather weird problem.

Most drums are designed to work only in 4/4 and other time signatures equivalent to 4/4

Ah I see. Yes, those drumbeats you linked certainly sound better. So it's just a matter of drumbeat design, which is why there are several available.
