When I try to RiffCast within RiffWorks 2 Line 6 edition - I get a message telling me the username and password is incorrect. The RiffLink server states it's not online. When I log in elsewhere, it works fine. What am I doing wrong

I was talking to Dan about this yesterday as I didn't know the answer. To use RiffCaster on our website, you have to login to the store and download the RiffWorks Line 6 edition updater to register your Line 6 edition with us. Once that is done, RiffWorks should allow you to use drums from our store and RiffCast on our site.

Sorry for the confusion on the extra step involved. Our new site has a really cool linked identity thing across RiffWorks, store, RiffCaster, forums. There is no way for us to do that with you just downloading the application from Line 6. That updater is the way that you can tie into all of our stuff.

Hey Dan.

As I have stated elsewhere - I already did all that. The problem is that the RiffLink and RiffCaster function will not work with my profile -=M=- , even though it works everywhere else on your site. This profile is tied deeply into the installation/registration process, so I have to make a new account with another username (I loved the -=M=-) whereafter you should transfer my account to this new username. When that's done, I can download all the stuff again and uninstall the previous -=M=- branded RW2 to install a new RW2 for new registration so the new username will be embedded. Then I can install the drummers once again and move all the old stuff to the right folders once again....
When will I ever get the time to record some music?

Regards

Martin

-=M=-, I sent you an email. All you should need to do is log in as Maxe and download the registered download (4 megs). All your drums should continue to work and you should be able to riffcast and rifflink. I tested it from my end and I am pretty sure everything will work for you.

You were one of the only users that had non alpha numeric characters. Sorry about the trouble.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.

thanks!

Tahnk you Dan.

No need to reinstall after all.
That's just fantastic, really. Sonoma support is absolutely the best and most effective ever!!!
