If you've purchased RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2), you can register it to receive two additional InstantDrummer sessions by following these instructions:

http://www.sonomawireworks.com/register_line6edition.php

[edit] RiffWorks Line 6 Edition is no longer being updated, so it is recommended that all RiffWorks Line 6 Edition users upgrade to RiffWorks Standard:

Michelle I cannot get the registration program to run. I get on onscreen message which says I have to install Riffworks first even though Riffworks is already op and running on my pc. I have already been through the process of un-installing and then re-installing the application but it makes no difference. What can i do to solve this.

Good morning,

Usually that error message indicates that you are trying to use the registration application with RiffWorks version 1 and that you don't have RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (V2) installed, though it can happen under other circumstances. Please confirm that you're running version V2 by opening RiffWorks, clicking the "RW" logo and then checking the version number on the main panel in the middle of the application. V2's version number is 2.0.0.2528.

Let us know what you find,
Randy

Upgrade to RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2) from Line 6 for $29.99:
http://www.line6.com/store/storefront.html?categoryID=1

Download your 6 free InstantDrummers from Line 6:
http://www.line6.com/software/ (select RiffWorks Line 6 Edition version 2)

Then register it with Sonoma Wire Works to get two additional free InstantDrummer Sessions:
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/register_line6edition.php

Or crossgrade to RiffWorks Standard:
RiffWorks Version 1 owners receive $60 off, making RiffWorks Standard $69.
RiffWorks Line 6 Edition Version 2 owners receive $100 off, making RiffWorks Standard $29.

Hi Michelle,

I'm having problems saving a local copy of my RiffLink projects to my home pc. Would this have something to do with owning the line 6 version of riffworks. Also, if I were to upgrade to standard what do I get for my $29? Thanks a bunch!

Vandy, Shouldn't matter - I use to use Riffworks Line 6 version and had no trouble saving tunes on my pc. RiffWorks Standard gives you more options as far as other brand (other than Line 6) hardware is concerned.

Quick question - I bought the Line 6 Studio GX which came with RiffWorks T4. Am I correct to assume that this doesn't qualify me for the RW Line 6 edition $29.99 upgrade, as advertised on the site?

I think the $29 crossgrade is ony from Riffworks Line 6 Edition to Riffworks Standard.

So many versions it is getting confusing, that one is news to me, looks like an upgrade to Line 6 version from version 1. I reckon T4 is Version 2 anyway (A Lite Version if you like)

Hopefully one of the Sonoma gang will soon put you straight. Without doubt the best position to finish up in is owning Riffworks STD not Riffworks Line 6. You then won't be tied to Line 6 or limited to using a Line 6 ASIO Device, nothing wrong with them mind you, I use Pod XTL and Toneport UX2 :)

Probably the best thing would be to ask your relevant questions on the Customer Service forum as the Sonoma Gang monitor that one a lot more closely than any of the others :)

Good luck mate and welcome to the Nuthouse

Any chance there is going to be a Line6 Edition to Standard Crossgrade, for $30, sometime in the future ?

Edit: Mhhh, yeah, I tryed to get the two additional Drummer Seesions, but it didn´t showed up in my Stores Account Download Section, so I simply copied it over, from my T4 Version. Is this ok ?

Also, how to I get my account to move from T4 to Line6 Edition. It seems that i´m still registered for T4. When I try to use the Riffcast in Line6 Edition, I don´t get the activation form, but the Riffcast upload form. Any suggestions.

Thanks.
