Hi all! This is my first post in the forums. I am fairly new to Riffworld. I must say, I am very much amazed at how many talented musicians are posting music on here everyday. Posting songs on the last couple Riff-Rumbles has really opened my eyes to all the great songs that are on this site. It seems that there is a huge potential to create a streaming radio station of sorts to showcase all the great songs that are being posted here. I enjoy going through the artist profiles and clicking on random songs, and I find that at least 80% of the music i hear is at the very least worthy of being great background, or "mood" music. It makes sense to me that there could be an excellent internet radio station, streaming all (or most of) the music that is posted on Riffworld! I could even see it being a satellite station on Sirius or XM Radio! I am currently putting together a music website geared toward promoting unsigned bands and I would love to be able to add a link that streams songs from Riffworld. There really is some awesome stuff on here. It seems like there is a vast pool of untapped music talent that any A/R person from record labels really should be made aware of. I would love to hear from anyone involved with Sonoma to find out if these things are already in the works, or if not, how to get it started.
