I received a phone call from Mrs. Joy Saturday to let me know that our beloved Uncle Wedgey was hospitalized....it seems he had been feeling a bit ill in the morning and upon getting worse Mrs Joy called 911 where he was admitted for having had a heart attack..... Doctors inserted a stent into a clogged artery and he's stabilized and already wants to go home from the hospital.....hopefully they'll release him real soon and he NO doubt will be back feeling chipper and talking bollox in no time at all.....

I didn't post this news on the forums sooner at Mrs. Joys request, as she had to let relatives in the U.K. know the news 1st.....and didn't want them to find out about Wedgey via the forums....

I'll be keeping in touch with Mrs. Joy of course and may well drive up Tues or Wed to give him and her a visit.......

Feel free to let him know how ya feel and I'm sure it'll make him feel a lot better when he gets home and see's it.

So....."Lord William of Wedgeford".....(NOT Sir William as he corrected me on the phone last week)......... I hope ya get better soon and remember.......we got lots of tunes yet to write mate........:)

Wow...thanks for letting everyone know about this Mick.
The sooner he gets a guitar in his hands I'm sure will help in the recovery. That and a computer keyboard so he can charm us with his wit again

(Might have to knock back to an O'Douls level for a while)

Mrs. Joy Thanks for calling 911 and not waiting to see what happens. Very smart. Bill, I am a card caring member of the "stent club" and I am so glad you are OK. Pretty scary thing laying there waiting for the next thing coming. God speed your recovery and take care of yourself. I want to hear more music from Lord Bill. Maybe you can do an exercise CD. :)
