I haven't had any problems with POD Farm yet, sooo different from Gear Box...really like it so far, but I've only used it for a couple of hours.

so the dual tone thing won't work for guitarport? bummer, seems like a cool thing to use.

i don't have many problems with podfarm and rw, cept getting to know it.
i hate the tuner! it's big or something. too much shake to tune in on a note. i use a clean signal but that red bar swings alot. lol. hope it's not my guitar!

I use a Toneport UX1 with Gearbox. I tried Pod Farm over the weekend and it seemed to be pretty nice. However, but, etc... the driver update needed for Pod Farm hosed my Gearbox connection to GuitarPort Online so I had to revert to the earlier drivers, which means I can't use Pod Farm. YMMV.

ok guys i am seeing a couple of more amps in my gearbox and podfarm. I am not sure if they came with pod farm or my gearbox plugin upgrade (with bass model pack)
Here are the amps.

Class A-30 Fawn
Brit Gain 18

Can anybody confirm?

Good call Lord Riffer. Yes, PodFarm has taken all my customized tones and mixed it with anything it seems to be able to find from L6 tones in my computer as well.

Foosky, I have a Guitarport and use PodFarm (the standalone) with no problems (winXP SP2). At first I couldn't get the dual amp modeling to record properly in RW (only one model would record). Then I discovered that in the Podfarm Mixer, you have to have "Mix (Tone 1 & 2)" selected under both REC SENDs. Works like a charm now.

For your tuning woes, try scooping the tone knob on your guitar and switching to the neck pickup when you tune. That seems to keep the needle from being quite so spastic.
