Did it...mad I know, but I got.......wait for it..... a 50's Classic Player....Well isn't that a surprise; couldn't resist it. Won't stop me looking at others as well since it was so cheap, so I'm still on the lookout for another guitar.

But this was only 329 pounds, or about 520 dollars, and new...just a mad price. But it was just one of those moments when you sit down and go....yup this is the one. Plays like a dream, soft V neck (better for my small hands), vintage 57/62 pups and trem....Sunburst as well, and surprise of all surprises it's got a maple fretboard; I haven't played one for.....well.....never really.

That's guitar players for you. Haven't told the wife yet. I'm hoping she won't notice, although the maple fretboard might be a bit of a giveaway.....

Whenever you buy a new toy for yourself just tell her that it is going to help improve the marriage!

LoL, Have you considered a guitar with a reverse polarity switch for the pickups..
Check out the fender Jaguar.. There are a few others out there too.. This has a really cool tone change that is unlike anything I have ever seen.. The first time I encountered a polarity switched guitar was a buddy of mine who had altered his les paul (I know shame on him lol) but it is a really cool tool..

CW I've heard your posts..you got the tasty chops so go for the real deal not an imitation. I don't know what you play, but if you don't have a tele or a paul they seem like your beck style.
