And really that is what matters most...finding what works for you. I wanted an XT for ages, but finally gave in when the X3 came out and whole dual tone thing was introduced. If I had the XT, I am sure with some added amp packs I would be a happy camper too.

I have not used a POD since the original bean came out oh so many years ago, they certainly have made some serious advances in the sound and ability to dial in tones. The original was awesome at the time, but not very customizable to me......still amazing to me what a little bean or pedal board can do anymore. Gotta love technology!
