While it was done with FL-Studio 8 and not Riffworks, ide still like some feedback. I've never done a Blues song before, and it was my first time working with the NS-Freekit also.

That's a great tune there, but unfortunately I'd say it isn't blues at all. The walking bassline, the swing in the main melodies, the note choices - all those things are saying "jazz" to my ears. Very cool jazz song though!

Definitely Jazz. Maybe "Smooth Jazz"?

It's kind of funny though to compose a tune and then turn to others to find out what sort of music it actually is! I bet that in the field of "Metal", discussions on that could go on for weeks. "That's Power Metal!" - "No way! It's Prog!" - "Are you insane? That's clearly Crossover!"

Good that you tried a shot at the Blues first :-)

Btw I've just checked out a few tunes on your page there. "Melodic Acid" is really great!

hey, thanks :)
that song got me alot of attention, (and my first album).

and i know exactly what you mean about classifying metal.
DragonForce is hard to classify now, because:
they are very Power Metal style, but they are waaaay to fast to be just power metal
cant be melodic deathmetal, jsut doesnt fit.
