Hi!

I've recently bought my second audio interface which I intend to use in parallell with my ol' faithful Toneport GX. When I jack the line-out from the Toneport into to the line-in inputs on my new M-Audio ProFire 610 I get very low signal strength (it never goes above 30-40% on my input meter for the line-in). I've tested the line-outs on my iPod, CD-player etc and the strength is much stronger there. So, for some strange reason I can't get the signal strength to go higher than 30-40% with my Toneport. This bothers me since I wish to use the monitor mixing capabilities of my new audio interface and also to do some recording using this setup, but I am afraid that I loose alot of dynamic headroom when the signal strength is so low.

I have done the obvious things like cranking up the volume knob on my Toneport (check), cranked up the volume on the amp models in POD farm (check) and/or Gearbox (check), I use the latest drivers (check). I can honestly not find any other settings that affects the output volume from the Toneport line-outs. All output levels are set to max.

Do you guys have any advices?

maybe you should look on the profire side for a HiLo impedance, -10dB switch since the toneport looks OK
