A few people have asked me about some tone settings on my classical and acoustic piezo equipped guitars so here is some examples using Toneport.

Classical:

Piezo set flat with volume low, it gets noisy above 1/4 volume so I crank the volume on the compressor later.

Noise Gate: Threshold -60 Decay 100
Vintage Preamp:
Drive 36%
Bass: Switch to Shelf to roll off mud -3 at 50hz
Low Mid: +3 at 240hz
High Mid: 0
Treble: Switch to Shelf -6 at 5k
Volume: Max
Compressor: -5db Gain: Max
Sine Chorus: Speed .10 Bass:48 Treble:60 Mix:50
Reverb: Cavernous: Pre 34 Decay 12 Tone 50 Mix 45

If you play in a mix of other instruments you will need to adjust reverb to fit, the low decay setting allows big reverb without mud.

Acoustic:

Was the Piezo Rock Strum preset with ping pong delay and eq off. I made some tweaks with riffworks on this one.

Hope that helps, I really love the ping delays and cavernous reverbs but each can get muddy real fast.

Thanks Jason, I've never been able to get my Ovation 12-string to sound quite right. I can't wait to try out your settings!
