Here is the description
Poor Man's Trainor (Read: Trainer) is a Music Learning Utility that I created out of my own specific requirements with features that i would rather use.

If you are a guitar, bass drums or other instrument player who is learning from ear by listening to tracks,
this might help you a bit to focus/practice a bit better.

Formats Supported (mp3, mp1,mp2, ogg, wav)

What it Does :
Slow down/Fast up Music

Change the Tuning of Audio (Semitones / Cents) >> Version 1.2.117

Channel Selector Listen to Specific Channels (L,R,Stereo)

Channel Mix (Mode 1): Separates Center>L and Mid>R >> Version 1.2.117

Vocal Cut Like DSP (L Mixed with Inv R ) >> Mode 2

Simple 3 BAND Peaking EQ (Bass Mid Treble)

Create Precise Loop Points for audio file,so you can listen to a part repeatedly or jam over/with that.

Ability to fine tune Loop Points

Ability to Save Loop Markers in Library (up to 64 loops per audio file) as a preset to load instantly later on.

a simple library feature that lets you load the songs that you have saved presets for.

Most of the Things have keyboard shortcuts to make it easier to use (except knobs).

An Approx BPM Detector Tries To Guess the BPM/Tempo of the Audio (It May Detect it twice or half the actual value)

Playlist Feature. Drag and Drop Mp3/Wav files or folders. >> Version 1.2.117

Reads the Id3 Tags from Mp3 Files >> Version 1.2.117

Although it has only been tested on Windows XP SP2, it should also also work fine on Vista if installed correctly (admin rights).

I have also tested it under Wine(ubuntu Linux) though you will need to copy few dlls manually from windows to linux and register scrrun.dll via regsvr32 in linux.
Enjoy.

I Am A Man of Few Words Ironically Understandable by the Select Few, hence more often than not I have to Come out of my Manhood to do the obvious. Now Ain't it a cruel world?

Very cool Amit. Best of all...its freeware! (all say yay Amit!)
I used to use sevenstrings but it was like 40.00 to pay for it. I have been using slow downs since turntable days.. putting 33 1/3 rpms on 16 and the like. Same goes for two track reel to reel tapes and all the other gadgets that have come out throughout the years..and this is now free! I just bought a Tascam deck for cassette with a speed control on it. Again...very cool..thanks. We'll have to give a checkout.

Free yes…but don’t overlook the donation area. I am sure contributions are appreciated. Very cool!
