I've been clicking around some - where is the catch? The software normally costs 140$, and they're still selling "a full license" at that price. So if I get that 1-year license, I suppose that somewhere I'll still have to give them my credit card details so that after 12 months they deduct the money. Right?

Yes that is the way I read it. But a years worth of trial sw is not a bad way to try before you buy.

Wow! Just checked it out and you get quite a lot of amps and effects here!! And naturally, the Waves stuff always sounds GREAT!

I don't think this will work with Riffworks though. Have you tried it? Last I remember, RW doesn't support Waves format for plug-ins.

No, I haven't tried it. I just ran across the offer and thought I'd share.

Not that I could tell. It didn't ask for any credit card info. I imagine in a year it will give you a nag screen telling you that your free year is up, buy or uninstall.
