I played one a few months ago at a local store and thought that it was superior to Fender Custom Shop Strats both in feel and sound...a GREAT guitar

My tele is one of those ESP models and it's the one guitar I'll never sell. I'd LOVE to get one of those strats. Go for it dude!

Those strats look nice and since not having tried one, I don't know how they feel compared to a real strat.

I use to have an EC1000 with the gold hardware and all.

I hated it, felt like a cheaply made plastic toy. Wouldn't stay in tune, but maybe I didn't give it a chance on the tuning, but I still probably wouldn't have been able to get past the cheap feel of it quality wise. Got a lot of comments on how nice it looked and for some reason the one I tried and the store felt better, not sure what was the deal on that. The other funny thing is, I didn't get the exact one I tried at the store, but one out of the box. I wonder...

Not of fan of clones but if it plays better than the real deal for less $ then go for it imo. What's the price on that?

NVM I see it is more than an American Standard but less than a Deluxe but with better pickups, seems about right to me.

its about 1300$ in sweden

a decent fender is somwere between 2500-3500$ if you want the american ones.

but if you go for a mexican 400-800$

Strange, the MRSP on the Vintage Plus ESP is 1,799(1,399 sale price) and an American Standard Strat is MSRP $1,590-1,780(1,199-1,349) depending on the color. Looks sweet though.

i could be wrong there im guessing that 1$ is about 10 swedish krona! but i could be wrong!
and the strats i was talking about is the costum shop strats

i have an esp strat from the 80`s but its time for it to get some rest.
and i have one us vintage reissue strat! but the new esp just plays so much better then the fender strats ive tried. the only strat that beats it is/was the relic IMO.
