Where Spinal Tap were about the 70's rock era, "Steel Panther" parodies everything that was about the excesses of the 80's - big hair, melodic rock and girls, girls girls!!

If you loved the 80's (or if you just want to see it all condensed in to one band), check out "Steel Panther". Yup, even the name screams 1980's.

The new album, "Feel The Steel" is as rude and crude as you want. The new EP "Death To All But Metal" has a cool title track video and the track, "I Want Your T!ts" could be just for Mickey! ;)
With a drummer called, 'Stix Zadinia' and a manager called 'Michael Ockhurtz' (you work it out!), the lyrics are hilariously offensive and it sounds like Uncle Bill's dirty-minded alter-ego has had a hand in writing them! ;)

Who's been altering my ego, is that allowed here ??? ;)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

What does the drummer sticks inside you ? And which Keylock is he exactly talking about ?

Used his profession as Weed-Seller...Rofl. Gotta see this Band live. How could one have missed them...:D

Oviously it's:

David Lee Roth - Singer
Paul Simmons - Guitarist
Chris Frazier - Drummer
And the one guy of Milli Vanilli - Basser

Dunno if you heard about it, but The Story of ANVIL is a "Spinal Tap made real"

As sad for them their story can be, has lots of resemblances on the hilarious situations mentioned on the mockumentary this is Spinal Tap.

It's a great doc, and much better if people get to buy their albums (now they'r their 50's)

Check for this documentary comment at rottentomatoes.com

There's a God's of Rock Spinal Tap style mini movie about a fake band that's pretty funny.

The UK Tour video is here -> http://www.thrashhits.com/2009/07/thrash-hits-exclusive-steel-panther-uk-tour-video/
Like Mick says, "Hilarious!". Great to see musicians not taking themselves too seriously - in fact, they don't take anything seriously!

I'd love to see them on their UK tour in September, just for the laugh!
Cheers!
