I've recently learned that this tactic doesnt work so well, when they ask you about something they said.
my girlfriend doesnt talk all that much either, which is dumb of me to try to look like im paying attention. the trick is to jsut figure out the point of what they are saying, then you can forget the rest :p
once you have the main idea down, your good.

I've recently learned that this tactic doesnt work so well, when they ask you about something they said.

If you know your lady well enough (let's hope you were paying her complete attention at some point in your relationship), you'll know what she's saying without having to listen to every word, since most women will use 200 words where 20 will suffice.

See most guys fall into the trap of trying to answer, "what did I just say?" with a word-for-word reply of what she actually said. If you try to do this and you weren't listening, you will get caught. Just give her a short, 1-sentence summary of whatever she was honking about, and promise you'll never do (whatever she was upset about) again.
