I remember that when they remade the site in the beginning of 2008 Sonoma was to convert the old riffcasts to the new site but obviously mine didn't. Fortunately I have all my projects on my harddrive so here is a repost of my first riffcast, RiffRaff. I changed the mix slightly since the drums were messed up, haven't opened the project in over 1 year and I guess some of the demodrummers must have changed since then.

No bass and the drummers are the demo drummers MekanicBeats, Habanero-Bridge and "When I drumaround". Before this I hadn't done any digital recording whatsoever and this is also my first attempt for a guitar solo (I used to play bass in some rock bands some 20 years ago). The main riff is stolen from YES.
One thing that makes a huge difference from the first version is that the pumping from the old master compressor is gone, the new one seems to apply compression in two stages which really sounds much better! I have not done any mastering on this one. This must be the first Riffcast I've done from within Riffworks for almost a year now
