And since the latest release, it works good with RiffWorks Standard now :) GR3 is one of the best for effects and routing capabilities. A good partner for POD Farm. Personally, I don't like the Marshall sounds in GR3 so much but the HiWatt (ala Pink Floyd tones), Orange amp, Fender Twin and Deluxe and their metal amp (forget what it's called?) are all EXCELLENT. $169 is a VERY good price for this. I remember when Guitar Rig was over $500 bucks :O

Is there any issues with Line 6 hardware(Pod Studio UX2) when using Guitar Rig 3? It's a great deal and I'm always looking for new tones. Blue mentioned it's a good partner for Pod Farm and the excellent routing capabilities. How do you guys incorporate it with Pod Farm?

Thanks

You need a VST host like Chainer to hold two VSTs at once. Pretty simply setup but can crash RiffWorks so beware. Here's a link:

As for Guitar Rig's routing capability...

You can split the signal a number of ways: parallel, serial, by frequency (low/high), etc. so this allows you to do all sorts of crazy things like add delay to only high frequencies and process the low signal with a different effect. Pretty much anything is possible :D

Thanks Blue I'll read up on the Chainer link. Lets see if I'm brave enough to jump in I'm still learning Pod Farm an awesome program within it's self.

Everything you need and MORE is inside POD Farm. Guitar Rig 3 is just another flavor. It's fun to play around with though :D
