Wow! I just noticed that my last 3 riffcasts got honored by Top 10 charts awards! Thanks so much!!

However, this makes me wonder how you people out there discover new and (hopefully) worthy entries at all? I mean - I've seen new riffcasts slip off the RW start page in a matter of hours! And after they're gone from there, it's nearly impossible to discover them. Me, I occasionally check the profiles of my favourite Junkies to see if they've got something new. I know I could use the RSS feature for that, but...

Do you guys use it a lot? How did my rendition of "The Visitors" amass 105 listeners??

Btw I'm kinda working on a "Comfortably Numb" cover :) Would anyone of you care to sing? I was so moved by that version with Sam Brown on vocals, I just had to do something...

Congratulations to you.

I too was surprised that I was in the #10 slot for the past two weeks. I'm honored and still wondering how it happened.

hey, that's a good point about the songs being posted as new entries, but soon slip off the home page into limbo land.... it would be cool if you could stream all the latest tunes without dealing with RSS feeds and all that stuff --

RiffWorld is in need of some major improvements. It is an awesome addition to the product, but does need some upgrades. It really needs to incorporate more of the social networking stuff.... you get an update for all of your "riff-friends" new posts and stuff like that.... I hate myspace/facebook, but I would like it if those elements of the social networking sites were added to RiffWorld

My parody song "Slingy Shreds" reached number one last week. I hope people don't think I actually suck that bad.

That post was a masterpiece Jason and if I'd only ever posted that I'd be happy. Creative talent is in the ideas not necessarily the execution. Anyway, most of us have heard your other stuff, damn we even jacked most of them. :)
