This is a sore subject for me!!!! Chains is one of my favorite bands of all time....im being dead serious...im talking life altering sh!t here!!!!! This band alone changed the way I looked and approached music....both listening and playing wise! When Lane died...it was like Elvis dying....I was like WTF???? Not Lane.....now what!?

I never really got over it and am just thankful that they toured a lot...and I got to see them at least a dozen times!!!!

This new guy they got is good....and very close to Lanes tone.....but I don't think I can listen to it....F*cked up I know....but its just that way. I do dig Jerry's solo stuff though....his songs are good....and he was alot of the sound any way!!!! :)

Yeah I hear you, unfortunatley that is a HUGE part of life in living and dying. I didn't know they found a new singer when I first heard this, I thought Cantrell took over the vocals since I heard he sounded a lot like Lane did. I think it sounds good, still has the feel of the older Alice n Chains sound. Cant' wait to hear the rest.

The single: A Looking in View rocks!

It really sounds like old AIC, and I may even buy the CD when it comes out. It's been 7 years since my last purchase, but it sounds great to me. Listening to it on Sirius Octane as I type.

Woooottt...Alice in chains is back. Anyone knows the name of the new Singer...sounds a bit like Scott Weiland ???

Whoever it is...he's very close to Lanes Lyrics and Vocal style, though Lane was one of the most virtuose Vocalists I ever listened to. Did I mentioned that the most virtuose musicians where drug abusers...:D

Whatever. Haven't listened to AiC since over ten years gives you a totally different view. It isn't hard for me to listen to the new stuff, because it simply sounds good...you guys should give the new singer a chance, as long as he's doing a good job. No one can mess up a band more then Brian Johnson did...:D

No imagination is a limit I can´t afford.

It says Phonia, not Phobia. One is sound the other is your Girlfriends Mum.

His name is William DuVall. I thought at first it was Jerry Cantrell since I heard that he sounded like Lane a bit. I think it sounds good and can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
