What song do you remember the most from your high school years?

For me it was Black Magic Woman.
My RiffWorld
Mat 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Not favorite - but from high school I remember Metallica before they sucked `blackened`

Is the outcome of hypocrisy,
Darkest--poten-CY!

I used to swear they were singing `buckets .. potency` 12yo and bucket bongs on the mind lol

Ditto my friend!! My first concert was June 1985. I was 14 and saw Iron Maiden on the Powerslave tour with Accept opening at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

One of the best concerts I've ever seen...and I've seen A LOT of 'em.

Cheers,
Chris

Excellent gromitsdad!!! The only difference was my first Maiden show was The Number of the Beast tour they opened for the Scorpions(Blackout tour). It was 1983 I was 14 and I saw them every album tour in a row after until Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

My high school had a youth center and since I played in a band that played there a lot for the dances they had, my buddy and I got to stock the juke box. We put Jerry Lee Lewis' Whole Lotta Shaken Goin On out of his mom's collection in it and it was played constantly. Other than that it would be Peter and Gordan Summer Song and Iron Butterfly Inna Gadda da Vida, The Beach Boys California Girls. Oh crap gotta stop there you only asked for one and I'm show'n my age. :)

I knew you were young Evan but I didn't realize you were in high school. Dayumn. Precocious little bleep LOL

I'll change my song to Aero Zeppelin by Nirvana off Incesticide. I actually remember running it in an old school tape walkman.

i can't remember a particular song in high school.

it was a long time musically, for me. so much great music.

69-72.

but then again, it could be said the same for other time spans.

the 8track that maybe got the most plays on a road trip was the doors's with "the end" on it.
then live at the filmore, Allman Brothers Band.
